So I was eating one of those liquorice all sorts with aniseed on the outside of a jelly blob when I turned it over and saw a swastika on it! It was a red aniseed ball and there were little bits that were darker than others, forming the shape of a swastika. I was going to take a picture but that was too much hassle so I ate it.

And that was the highlight of my day. (Apart from visting my gran who wanted us to sort out her grave arrangements)

My friend is a dullard. He came on MSN to arrange a cinema visit tomorrow. We agreed on Die Hard 4.0 then he phoned the cinema to find out the times it's on. They charge for the phone call, and using his mobile adds the normal mobile phone charges on top of it.

But he was sitting at his computer where he could have just gone on the cinema website.

Wow, all those nice charges. Stateside, it's cheaper to just do away with a land line.

I sold some stuff on ebay two weeks ago. One person paid by cheque, which cleared on Tuesday. I sent their item the hour the post office opened, using first class recorded, along with another item with the same service. The other item arrived on Wednesday but the more important one still hasn't arrived. I think it's because of the postal strikes that started some time this week but it's made me feel guilty about it taking two weeks, so I've offered to refund the postage to the buyer. I'm worried they'll leave some negative feedback or just get annoyed and start being abusive.

I hate this damn country. I set off to see Die Hard 4, got to the bus stop and waited for a while. The time board said "3 mins... 2 mins... Due... Due... Due". While I was waiting for this some drunk guy tried to strike up a conversation about our first bikes. He was completely pissed (drunk) at 6pm. Two different buses came at the same time and he got on the first one so I said I needed the other one.

On the way in I saw from the bus a very drunk man trying to start a fight with a bollard. He had his fists up in a fighting stance and was tapping the bollard with his fist.

I got to the cinema and the ticket price had gone up yet again to £6.95. That's about $14 just to see a damn film! Then the popcorn was £4.25 so I passed on that.

The film was great, I thought.

I was thinking of going to the pub after but my friend didn't want to in case he got murdered like some other guy on his route home today. He said a body was "found" on the side of the road at about 2pm.

Walking back to the bus stop some foreign people who sounded German asked us where a good pub to eat is. I was ashamed for them to see the state of this town and country. There were drunks all around being loud and abusive.

On the bus there was a man behind me blind drunk swearing all the way, and a bunch of slappers being tarts.

To top it all off, when I got off the bus to wait for mummy to pick me up some chav shouted "Oi will fucking KILL you!!!" in my general direction.

I hate this damn country. I know other countries may have similar problems but at least they'll have the twist of a different accent.
