Yea i put up about a grand i had been saving in the bank and Aubrey put up the rest.,

We really needed a bed though what with her being preggo and us sleeping on an air matress.

Watched out the window this afternoon to see the Blue Angels practice a bit. The clouds were bad yesterday and the wind was too or they'd have been out then.

Got a new furnace and ac put in... good thing the hot weather is almost done.

bah, still sick. I woke up at 4 in the morning dehydrated, I went downstairs to get some water and I almost fell down the steps.  I felt like throwin up.  I couldnt get back to sleep, and I eventually fell back asleep around 6:30.  so I just got up, I have a terrible headache (feels like someone hit me in the back of the head) and my whole body aches.

It's Reading Festival (pronounced redding) this weekend. Music artists from around the world (AKA America and Britain) playing in my town.

That means one of our neighbours is having a garden party with a professional DJ. They do it every year and it always goes on until 3am at full blast. Of course, it seems to be the hottest day we've had this year so we will have to have the windows open, and of course, it's the one night for months where I have to be awake before 7am the next morning.

Bastards.


Edit: 21:36pm I could start smelling their cigarettes in my bedroom from about 70 yards away. They must have put something special in them because I'm feeling giddy and have bloodshot eyes. But that could just be Bioshock.

Edit: 22:53pm It's like the DJ came along with his "The Best Disco Songs EVER volume 32" CD and has nothing else to play. It's all the usual songs.

I had a good day today. It's warm and sunny but not hot. I got to spend some proper time with dad, instead of in a prison visiting room. They let him out for the day because  he's in a low security prison where they get priveliges like that. It sounds soft but it's a prison for light offences and rehabilitation. He was supposed to be released yesterday but they don't release people at the weekend or bank holidays, which means he'll be out on Tuesday.

We went to Oxford for the day, had a nice but expensive cooked breakfast then walked around the town. Johnny Foreigner was all over the place getting in the way. I didn't realise there was such beautiful architecture in Oxford. It makes Reading look like a dump. We did some window shopping then visited a museum for some reason which was interesting but kind of boring. We were two hours early so we drove around the countryside for an hour then went back to the prison. "Better ten minutes early than ten seconds late" as the warden said.

When we dropped dad off at the prison he whispered "You're a great son" in my ear, which struck a chord.

wait, if you dont mind me askin, why is your dad in prison?  and how can he get you books about toilets if hes in prison!! (yes, I still remember that)

im still kind of sick, but not that bad.  last night I went to the mall and I had left my shoes in my moms car, and my parents were out so I went in my socks.  I got really friggin cold when it was like 80 degrees out, and tired, we went got home around 9:30 (the mall closes at 9, what the hell?), and I went straight to bed. I didnt even change in my pjs, and wore my clothes and put on my hugh heffner robe and went straight to bed.
