My tenure at the grocery store is over.

Thank God I had a cushy stocking job and didn't ever have to clean shit.

went to the flea market, no NES's.  after that I went to goodwill, and there was strong evidence of NES's being there (games, controllers) and I asked someone and he said an SNES went earlier today with a bunch of games and an NES yesterday.  I was pissed, so I stole some mac games.  I got the sim isle box and just stuffed all floppies I could find in there.

Out of nowhere today our family picked up a dog.

Its a beautiful mid-sized black lab, with a shiny coat and pretty lean cut.  The only bad thing I've seen about this dog is that he's a big chicken.  He hides from my dad, kids playing outside and frisbees.  We have 10 days to decide whether we should keep him.  I've got a good feeling he'll do well here.

I could have lost my license to sell alcohol and gone to jail for selling a beer to a drunk.

As for shit dealing with shit at work.
We have mexican who always throw their used toilet paper in the trash because apparently in some places in Mexico the sewer systems are fucked up so you can't flush it.

I went on a school trip when I was 11 and the hotel we stayed at had a notice saying something like "Please leave soiled paper and sanitary towels in the paper bags provided". Being 11, I couldn't work it out. "They want me to... poo... in the paper bag?? ??"

So I just had a dump the normal way.

I don't think anyone remembers, but a few months ago, I posted about how my TV that I grew up with finally bit the dust.  I tried finding the post, but I couldn't find it.  Anyway, while garage saling yesterday, I found another one that is almost identical   So I ended up buying it and a few records (see record thread) for $12.  So, now I can get rid of the ugly ass thing I was using, and play my Atari games in wood-grain style. 
Here's what my new baby looks like:

It's identical to my original except for the connections in the back.  Plus, I think the picture comes in a little better than mine did.
