w00t! I went into work to see what was happening about my pay and was given a leaflet about how to claim it from the government's National Insurance that everyone pays. It turns out I can probably claim an extra £100 through redundancy pay and losing my job with less than my earned two week's notice. (1 week's notice after one year and two weeks after 2 years) I got that one by a month.

So I'll have £140 coming my way eventually. With all the bureaucracy it will take a while, though.

Who the hell are HDNL? I bought something from Amazon and it was sent by the couriers HDNL.

How can it possibly take a courier 9 days to deliver something? Using the tracking number I was given, the HDNL website is one step behind the Amazon tracking page. Apparently it's in Droitwich wherever the hell that is. Sounds German.


Also, my router is being a dork and keeps cutting out. Lazy bastard.

My friend comes up with some bizarre suggestions sometimes. I got back from dinner, sat down at the computer and he came onto MSN.

"Do you want to go clubbing in London tonight?"
"No"
"We could go there tonight then go to another party in the morning"
"No"

He knows I'm not spontaneous, he knows I hate London, he knows I hate crowds.

We often have conversations like this:
