I'm tracking the three most likely consoles to be the second in my collection to reach 100 games.

While my PS1 stack is closest at 93 titles, I haven't added anything to it in months. I've had several opportunities to push it toward three figures at a few thrifts, but either the discs were missing from the cases, or the discs were in horrific condition.

My Sega Genesis / Mega Drive stack is in second place at 87 titles. While I've found a few "new" games here and there over the last few months, it's been fairly slow going overall.

Even though it's the "dark horse candidate" at 82 titles, I've been adding XBox games to my collection at a significantly faster rate than the other two. Due to this fact, I'm confident that this will be the next console in my collection to hit the century mark.

Then again, all it takes is to be in the right place at the right time for the race to change dramatically...

I passed 40 PSN games, 90 PS3 games, 80 DS games, 30 3DS games. Not too shabby Tongue

Yep, there you are on page 4 of All Collections, putting you in the top 8% of all collectors on this site.

Meanwhile, back on Terra: my XBox game collection is now three spots closer to the century mark, while its two competitors stagnate.

I'm also one away from having 125 PS2 games.

Too bad this isn't the "Collection Almost-Milestones" thread, huh?

I've been slowly working may way up the pages. I think I was on page 6 or so when I first joined. Now I'm getting dangerously close to page 2!!

I recall starting on page 5 of All Collections when I first submitted my collection. Now I'm just inside the top quarter of page 3. I'm still 50+ items away from the top, however.

BTW got my first Skylanders Giants store-exclusive Giant figure, my first standard-issue Giant figure, and my first Giants triple pack today. Now I just need the actual game so I can play the freakin' thing.

It is funny how many games I have picked up since becoming a collector almost two years ago. Nothing I have picked up was bought in lots. Every game was picked one by one. That kind of scares me to know I have so many games and don't consider myself to be a serious collector. Though it is a marvel to look at.

My collecting has slowed down the past couple of months but seems to be building up more steam now.

Congratulations! Your collection is proof that big things have small beginnings.

Mine looks like a starter set compared to some on this site.

That's subjective. As long as you get enjoyment out of your collection that's all that matters.

This is the great truth.
