PLayed Gears of War for 15-20 minutes last night. This game seems like it is going to kick ass. So far so good.

It does! The campaign is excellent. What difficulty are you playing, casual or hardcore?
I played some multiplayer and am getting sick of getting my ass kicked!
I have no idea what tactics for use for team play, so I think I'm going to start just playing as if I'm on my own for awhile until I get a better feel for it.
Also, played some pogo last night.

using you as a moral compass is kinda weird. It's like asking a thief if it's okay to steal something.

I'm trying to avoid WoW for a day or two until the bugs from the latest patch are worked out, so I've been trying to beat Dawn of Sorrows. I'm at the last guy, but he has beat the hell out of me everytime I've fought him.
Like SotN there is more to the game...
Furthermore I've been playing a bit more of Star Ocean 3, and boy did it pick up. I just got some really badass dude in my party and I've never been this excited about getting anyone in my party for any RPG. I won't say the name or whatnot due to spoilers. Trust me though, It is amazing.

Played a little Gears multiplayer online. My team got the win and I got my first kill...and with the chainsaw! Felt good.
Before going online, I'm going through the multiplayer maps again offline so as to get a little more familiar with the environment. I'm finding that it helps.

Played Phantasy Star Universe for a few hours tonight. Pretty close to the current level cap of 60. Right now I am sitting at 59, with about 24k exp needed. Then I will have to wait until Jan 12 for the cap to be raised to 70.
At least I still have a long way to go on my job skill class.

Played the XBLA Demos for Rally-X and Time Pilot. Also rented and played some Viva Pinata.
The TP demo was short, but good. Rally-X is a game I never played at the arcades, but the demo was also good; it's ridiculously simple, though, and reminds me a lot of Pac-Man...from the cars chasing you (through a maze no less) to the background music.
Viva Pinata is a very straightforward sim-type game. Good for the family (obviously) but I can see where it can get addictive the further you get into it. They did a very good job in keeping the tutorial informative, yet keeping the action moving along. I'll probably get it when it drops to $19.99 or less.

I played a few rounds of Guitar Hero 2 and got 5 stars on a few on expert. Yesterday I had a 7 hour WoW session and worked my way up to level 58. Hopefully I can hit 60 in a week or two.

Tested out recent purchases Def Jam: FFNY and MK:Armageddon for Xbox. They're on the agenda for 4-player madness tonight.
Also took some time offline with the Gears multiplayer maps some more to get more familiar before going online again. I think I'm ready.
@s1lence, how far are you in Gears?
