My friend bought an Xbox 360 yesterday. He tried to set it up this evening but came on MSN for some help.

He needed me to take him through every little detail of how to change the switch on the AV Cable from SD to HDTV.

"I've got sound but no picture"
"Flip the switch on the chunky part of the AV cable from SD to HD"
"Can't find it."
"Turn the console off, unplug the cable from the back and change the switch on it."
"Can't find a switch."
"It's a rough patch surrounded by a big white sticker."
"Found it. How do I activate it?"
"Slide it to HDTV."
"It's working. Cheesy Right, I'm off out to a party in London."

 hmm


I'd hate to be Microsoft Tech Support, having to deal with that sort of thing all the time.

Halo 3 system-link party last night with den68, ronmexico, and a bunch of other friends. We had a total of 7 of us playing Slayer, Rocketball, the Forge, and Infection. Infection is an excellent addition, btw. Cool
