Conan: The graphics are nothing special, but the gameplay was pretty smooth...and MANY decapitations!
Overall it was better than I expected. No camera control, though, since the right stick is used for evasive rolls, but it didn't seem to be an issue. Might be good as a bargain title purchase.
Based on the demo, I thought that game was a cheap God of War imitation that failed at even coming close to matching the greatness of it.

Finished: Gears of War - Act 1 - Hardcore giving me the "Kill a Berserker on hardcore" and finish "Act 1 on hardcore" achievements.
The whole act was surprisingly painless on Hardcore. Last time I tried I gave up because I was so fed up with dying so quickly. Maybe one of the updates made Hardcore easier.
On to Act 2 tomorrow maybe. It's getting a bit late now.

using you as a moral compass is kinda weird. It's like asking a thief if it's okay to steal something.

I played the Conan demo today and I agree with all that except for gameplay being smooth. It was like a market-stall-bootleg copy of God Of War. I would hope they mean "Coming Fall" as in last year with its graphics style.

Yeah, it's definitely not as good as God of War. That's why I wouldn't pick it up until it's under $20.

dusted off the DJ controller for Beatmania again. Managed to perfect a few songs I hadn't gotten before. I'm still have a long ways to go towards the harder songs.

Got my 512mb memory card for my 360 yesterday from ebay. I was surprised to find out that it let me put downloadable content from my 360 on it for transfer to another 360, not just game save files & player-created content; pretty cool, imo.
