Think I may get Farcry 3, only wonder is if my PC can handle it. Anyone played it on a rig as opposed to a console?
I'm played it on the PC:
Win 7 SP1
4 GB
2X Dual Core Xeon @ 3.60
8800GTX
Ran it at 1920X1200 on medium settings. DX9
Copy pasted FarCry3 sys requirements from Wikipedia
Minimum:
DirectX9c
512MB Video RAM (NVidia GeForce 8800 GTX, AMD Radeon HD 2900 or better)
Dual core CPU (Intel Core2 Duo E6700, AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ or better)
4GB RAM
Internet connection for one-time activation
Recommended:
DirectX11
1024MB Video RAM (NVidia GeForce GTX 480, AMD Radeon HD5770 or better)
Quad core CPU (Intel Core i3-530, AMD Phenom II X2 565 or better)
4GB RAM
Internet connection for one-time activation
High Performance:
Latest DirectX11 graphics card (NVidia GeForce GTX 680, AMD Radeon HD7970 or better)
Latest quad core CPU (Intel Core i7-2600K, AMD Bulldozer FX4150 or better)
8GB Memory
Internet connection for one-time activation
I don't even take into account system specs. My magical five year old rig runs pretty much everything as long as its ported well and I'm not sure why.
Played some more Chivalry, Arching is getting a little easier, though I can still go a whole game and get 2-3 kills.

Tried out the Wii U with friends today. I got Nintendo Land & New Super Mario Bros U. We also rented ZombiU.
Nintendo Land is pretty fun. Most of the games are cool but they get really difficult. I'm upset some are two player only because the Luigi's Mansion one is really fun but I'm usually playing alone.
Played through the first world of NSMBU. That was a lot of fun and it was pretty nuts. Excited to keep playing.
ZombiU was... eh.... It was ok. I wasn't having nearly as much fun as I was when we were playing the other two games. In the realm of Zombie games, I think LEft 4 Dead does it for me, I don't think I'll end up buying this one or playing it again. I DID like the fact that if you die, and you come back to that part as the next person, you see the body you died in as a zombie. Nice touch.
I have a hard time prying myself away from Nintendo Land too. Its so much fun.

I'm about 20 hours into Dragon Age: Origins. I'm really enjoying it. As usual with a Bioware title, the strength is in the character interactions and choices, and I'm pretty pleased with the ways things are playing out.

The Last Story: Made it up to chapter 7. Enjoying it and can't wait to continue the story. (I wonder how many people peeked in Chapter 5)
Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale: Just came in from the library. Going to give it a try tonight after more of The Last Story.
Super Mario Galaxy 2: Played through the first world. I like it better than the original.

Don't question Chinese software engineers; they could turn the Megadrive into a high-powered juicer using only several lines of ASM code and some duct tape.

i peeked
but then tried the other option and that one was surprisingly more interesting (and funny).

So much nostalgia stuck me while reading this, I cant even explain.
Tried to play some Genesis after drinking last night, didn't work out that well. Still got some Sonic 3 + Knuckles in as well as some Phelios.

using you as a moral compass is kinda weird. It's like asking a thief if it's okay to steal something.
