using you as a moral compass is kinda weird. It's like asking a thief if it's okay to steal something.

why would it not support 1080p day one when 360 has supported it for years? like shadow said it doesn't matter because it can be updated, but i really don't understand why they would backtrack like that, not a good way to start.
also there is a very noticeable difference between 720 and 1080 for me
Almost no games on the 360 and PS3 run natively at 1080p. They are upscaled to 1080p.
The difference between the graphics cores in the Xbone and the PS4 will be such that to get an acceptable framerate, the Xbone version might run at 720p (then upscaled) whereas the PS4 version might be 1080p natively.

ah i didn't know that about ps3/360 1080p, i was judging based on pc differences between 720 and 1080, the differences is very obvious there.

I read an article that the differences are only obvious depending on screen size and distance from the TV. Since i don't sit close to a gigantic TV i don't think i will ever notice the difference.

It's the one thing that sucks about consoles, you can't set native resolution for the game. The developers render the game in a resolution that is most efficient for gameplay according to the console's specs. Which is why most PS3/360 games run natively at 720p, some are even sub-HD, like 540p. Although quite a few indie titles on the PSN (not sure about XBL) actually do run natively at 1080p.
I've been getting into the inFamous games lately, yet another exclusive PS3 series. Pretty fun superhero-type game, and you can either play as a hero or be a total douchebag. Your superpowers slightly change accordingly. Beat the game on the Good path, now replaying the game on the Evil path.

Way of the Warrior for the 3DO, developed by Naughty Dog, is WAY too difficult for it's own good.
Still, the Rob Zombie Music is good.

Did you guys see this Kickstarter?
http://www.kickstarter.co...vanamo-online-game-museum
It was more than 200% funded. Seems like a good way to build a system collection to me, I should do this

MarriotGuy should have done that.
Looks like he could have saved a ton on out of pocket funds.

My girlfriend's sister is leading this conference for German studies and for some reason they've got a guy talking about narrative and video games.
It's streaming live right now if anyone's interested

From what I'm seeing, he's making the images he creates open source, so we could technically just post the images here. So there's no need for us to do the work.
