Correct, of course. A shame we never got this awesome looking remake in the US...but looks like Namco thinks Americans and Europeans don't like 2D...

Namco thinks Americans and Europeans don't like 2D...
That is what Sony told them and everyone, they started the whole anti 2D crusade, and with how successful they were with their original all 3D Playstation (2D had to be simulated with the use of flat polygons) I doubt things will change now

Hm...looks like a dating sim...could it be a title from the Tokimeki Memorial series (even though the pic doesn't look that much like Tokimeki...)? Or maybe even a Sakura Taisen game...although I am not too sure about the art style in that pic...
Or could it be a Sentimental Grafitti?
@Cobra
Sony really does seem to have an odd relationship with 2D games, at least when it comes to the PSP. For example, Atlus wanted to translate and publish Devil Summoner for PSP, but Sony rejected this idea. Why? I have no clue, but it must have something to do with the 2D factor. I guess that's a weird idea of Sony USA at least, while Sony Europe seems to be a little more friendly toward 2D games (which is why Tales of Eternia and Breath of Fire III were released in Europe and not in the US...). And all this mess because of a misconception on Sony's part. 2D games can still entertain and even be top notch in the technical department, just look at games like Odin Sphere or the Tales of Destiny Remake.

I wonder why that is, too.
2D games are often easier to get the hang off when you're new to gaming. Also, the chances of "getting lost" in a level are much smaller. 2D games should be encouraged, even on the new systems. Just look at Little Big Planet and how awesome that looks.
It'd be a great way for Sony and Microsoft to lure in some casual gamers who'd otherwise get a Wii, too

Hm...is it a Love Hina title, perhaps?
That's quite a difficult screenshot to decipher, I'll give you that. How about another clue, like...is that game based on a well known anime? Or has it been developed by a company that is known outside Japan, too? Or is it even a dating sim to begin with? I can only think of it being a dating sim, though...that picture looks 100% like a dating sim to me at least.

NOeL: Not Digital?
If it is I can't confirm it as I couldn't even find any screen shots of this obscure title.
