I thought that graphics looked familiar, but I seem to remember it having a more sonic spinball-like theme, with some type of green alien ooze dripping all over the screen, not a space/rocketship theme. Next up...

@Boshamp: Does your Soul still burn?  Abelia is a character from Soul Calibur 3.

Soul Calibur III...one of the games I purchased brand new (the other being Star Wars: Battlefront II) the day before my cat knocked over my PS2 and broke my Memory Card slot. Still mad about that to this day, and I barely got to play the two of them. Pretty much one of the last times I actually purchased something brand new on launch.

Yes sir. That is the game. I thought it was a random name generated in the story mode, thus making it harder to guess...lol With my new purchase, I have every SoulCal game, maybe I will make a run through all of them and actually play III. Your turn, Sir.

@Boshamp: Congrats on grabbing all the Soul Cal games! Playing through them sounds like a good idea for a monthly retro/modern playthrough.

@Shadow: You seem to have the worst luck with cats and video games. First your Skylanders story and now the broken PS2 memory card slot.

Hmmm...I'm stumped. That isn't NES, is it? It looks almost exactly like Contra. I feel like I have seen that power bar before, but can't place it.

@Boshamp: It looks like a NES/SNES game but it isn't. It came out recently for the PC, MAC, and Linux. It's no doubt that the developers loved Contra.

I'm out, I  don't think I have seen this one before. Something on a SEGA console, maybe Saturn?
