Correct!
I love that game too, although the "Direct3D HAL" setting doesn't let you click on 3D things, making progress impossible.
You can solve it by changing it to one of the other settings, at the expense of texture filtering and alpha transparency.

I am thinking it may be something else. The Graphics in that shot are more PS1, not PS3. But it could just be the screenshot. I hate seeing the screenshot threads die. They are my favorite ones to check in on. Smiley
