Yesterday in a half hour period i had rain, sleet/freezing rain, snow and then rain.

Turns out Dans first class was cancelled so i had to get up ass early for nbo reason. Thats WAY worse than if there had actually been one

Going on a visit to a school in Portland this afternoon. It's pretty much a foregone conclusion that I'll be moving here, assuming the school isn't terrible (and from the sounds of it, it's very much not).

Quizzes are quite common here. Quizzes are usually small and quick, as opposed to tests or exams, which are generally longer, more difficult and time consuming.
