Looking through my Master System collection, and I found writing on the back of my Out Run manual. If you recognize the list, you're too old.

1) Beats the hell outta me.
2) Depends on which version: possibly Elvis, BUT most likely...
3) ... that guy who liked to smoke crack with Whitney Houston.
4) Aretha.
5) Little Eva or the remake by Kylie Minogue.

I was wondering today, is Silent Service still trading at around $75?

It is/was?
I sold mine for much less than that. Local shop had several copies back in the day... Wonder if they still do.

using you as a moral compass is kinda weird. It's like asking a thief if it's okay to steal something.

I was just trying to pull up an old joke from awhile ago. It's not really worth so much. Looks like my comedian days are coming to a close.

If we're cracking jokes I can try one.
Damn, Peter Molyneux must have been so jealous when he learned the Japanese had one upped him in the late 80's and made an RPG with BUTTONLESS combat!

73 years ago today, a border encroachment occurred which would eventually inspire the most prolific genre of FPSes the video game world has ever seen.

Here's something random.
Just a while ago I was grocery shopping and I was waiting in line with a woman and her daughter in front of me. OK so I don't normally get into other peoples business but a part of me had to say something.
The women looked to be the same age as me (24) and her daughter looked to be around seven or so. So let me get to the point here.
So I'm waiting in line and the woman in front of me is arguing with her daughter about her not having enough money to buy her daughter something she wanted. Nothing out of the normal here. But than something weird happened.
The woman said to her daughter that she didn't have money to get her daughter what she wanted. She said "mommy didn't have the money". A moment later mommy took a frozen piece of food from her shopping cart and put it near the checkout's candy shelves. She then proceeded to exchange that food for one of those stupid celebrity magazines. She sacrificed food for her family for a stupid magazine.
At that point I said to the woman "Your daughter would appreciate food on the table over some stupid magazine." She than got into a argument with me telling me to mind my own business. All I said to her after that was "foods more important for your family".
I really hate people that have kids and don't know that having a kid(s) is a huge responsibility. I see too many people in their late teens and early 20's pumping out babies when their not ready to be a parent. Sometimes I think I'm the only person my age capable of basic logic.

^ Great story.
Gonna start a new project this weekend: delete my current, outdated collection and re-catalog everything.
I've been meaning to do the same thing with my Discogs account, too.
ADDED: Has anyone been checking eBay prices lately? HOLY CRAP. Nintendo and Super Nintendo games especially, but this is the biggest price spike I have seen in 15 years of collecting. $130+ for CIB Dragon Warrior 3? $100+ for CIB Mega Man 6? Resellers are living in the golden age; There's a TON of money to be made right now.

I was wondering what you were referring to before I went through a few forum threads, and saw what you were talkin' 'bout. It's the worst outbreak I've ever seen here so far.
'Course, if you wanna see some REAL spam, just look though the DBs and reply sections of commercial websites...

The StopForumSpam site was down, which allowed a few to get in.
Also, I need to get back to the swing of selling things.
