It'll be interesting going back to read Zag's posts as Jack Thompson out of context.

Considering the content of my other posts, I doubt people will notice that much of a difference.

Ended up with 326 Strategy Guides in my collection. Thought I had more... maybe I'm missing a box or two.

THE FORBIDDEN MOVIE

I guess you win. I don't think any of these other whippersnappers have been around long enough to know it :-/

Wow, Roger Ebert died. I regularly checked his movie reviews.

The guy had an uninformed, stubborn opinion on games though.

I always wondered if his thoughts on video games may have been colored somewhat by movies he watched that were based on video games. If so-- well, I can't really blame him for thinking the way he did.

No clue.

70 is quite young to die, in this day and age.

So tired of people shipping boxed games in bubble mailers and not taking responsibility for the damage that occurs during shipping. How can you think that's appropriate? It's barely any different than slapping a shipping label on the box itself and tossing it in the mailbox.

I'm guilty of shipping a boxed game in a bubble mailer once...but it was a gift and kind of a joke, so i didn't think it would matter too much.

Someone on Nintendoage bought Flintstones Surprise at Dinosaur Peak CIB for $1500 and the dude sent THAT in a bubble mailer.  Furious wouldn't begin to describe how i'd feel if that were me.
