So I've been getting impatient with news on this job I mentioned awhile back. So I finally get a call today that all they needed was an MVR. So the damn DMV was the bottleneck of this hiring process. I had to go out to the DMV (oh joy) and pay $10 for a piece of paper that has my name and nothing else on it since I'm completely clean.

Hopefully I start on Monday. Fuck the DMV.

There were only 3 people in front of me and it still took 45 minutes.

Damn, that blows. Fortunately, I live near an out-of-the-way DMV where I almost never wait more than 15 minutes before my number is called.

Speaking of driving: I'm back from Modesto. Just a big bunch of nothing, really. No wonder George Lucas wanted to get the hell out of there.

I've been going to see this acupuncturist to help with my general feeling of crappiness/inability to sleep, and it's really...helping. Crazy Chinese medicine...
