It was a decent game, but I'm not that excited for the next game.
Can't wait for the next Elder Scrolls game though...

^That's going to take awhile.

However, the Elder Scrolls team is hard at work on Fallout 3, which is scheduled for October release this year. I'm thinking it's probably going to be a must-have! Cool

As well as a movie, which should release about the same time.

They better not fuck up Fallout 3 like they did Oblivion.

You know, everyone pisses on Two Worlds for being a shitty game, but in truth, it filled in a lot of gaps that Oblivion couldn't. Seeing that Zero Punctuation of Oblivion and the copy/paste texture that made the land all look the same, that was one of the nice things about Two Worlds. It had desert, snow, jungle, hilly-meadows, forests, coastlines of white sand etc.

I have the feeling Fallout 3 will disappoint the Fallout series fans, but will *almost* please the Oblivion ones. Using the 3 year old engine from Oblivion will hardly turn heads in late 2008, but it will still be a decent game. With so many big games all coming out this fall, it'll be hard for it to stand out. Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to it, but as a "good solid game" not a huge blockbuster with a $120 price tag for the LE.

After playing Morrowind it is nigh on impossible to play the vanilla Oblivion. I had to put so many mods on it to a) make it look good and b) make it marginally fun, that the game became unstable and crashes every ten minutes. Gothic III or The Witcher is where it's at imo, haven't played Two Worlds as I heard it was a buggy mess.
