Meh i can't be bothered with haggling as a seller lol
If you offer a Best Price no one is going to BIN.

If you want it to sell you lead with your best price. Smiley

I picked up a 5 screw oval label factory mismatch metal gear cart. I looked on ebay to see what the relative value of this may be...but I don't see a single 5 screw copy there. Obviously, this would only be of any interest to hardcore variant collectors...but my question is does anyone have a reasonable estimate for the value? I only realized I had this bc I was looking through the oddball rare cart thread on NA and there were 4 other confirmed copies of this cart

^What ended up coming of your mismatch adventures on NA?

Non gaming question
http://www.amazon.com/exe...B00OHZVN5U/amazon0b53-20/
Is that a good price?
How many charges would it hold before needing to recharge itself? (Rough estimate)

It is outside of my norm so those might be stupid questions Tongue
Bil graciously let me use one he had at TMG* and it was super helpful.

*I bought a car adapter only to find out my car was so old that it was cig lighter only :-/

I received a couple of offers to buy the thing for a pretty good amount of money, but I decided to hang onto it for the time being because it's a pretty cool little obscurity.

alright finally have some funds to hunt down a famicom for the disk system i picked up a while back, but i don't know what a good price is on it. ebay has some that don't seem too badly priced, but then the majority of them are console only, no cables which seems stupid. this was the only one i could find that came with everything and said it all works too:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Fa...5&hash=item25a350e129

is that a reasonable price for the system, cables, and 5 games in that condition? the free shipping is a big deal too because most of the ones i looked at were $20+ for shipping to canada.

@techwizard:

I would ask senseiman/recommend an AV famicom as it has native av support, us controller support, and looks nicer RGB modded.  It doesn't have a microphone though.

Here's the link in the RFGEN database: http://www.rfgeneration.c...fo.php?ID=J-027-H-00010-A

If you are looking at the original Family Computer there are three major releases that I know of:

Square button release - http://www.rfgeneration.c...fo.php?ID=J-027-H-00020-B

Round button release - http://www.rfgeneration.c...fo.php?ID=J-027-H-00020-A

Famicom Family release (Has FF on the front to the left of where it says Family Computer )- http://www.rfgeneration.c...fo.php?ID=J-027-H-00021-A

If you are going with an original Famicom I would go with either the round button or FF version.

http://etim.net.au/nesrgb/ - RGB Information

Also look here for some power supply information:

http://www.famicomworld.c...um/index.php?topic=6933.0

TLDR version: use a Sega Genesis Model 1 (1602) power supply.

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/CL...K-BOX-ONLY-/261860780055?

the title and price of this makes me think it's a reproduction box, but i really can't tell. the nintendo seal on the front looks a little blurry but it's hard to tell if that's the photo or the printing.

anyway to know if this is real or fake?

With the price and shape of that box it HAS to be a repro. I'd be a leary buyer. But then again at that price it might be worth the risk.

EDIT - It actually says handmade in the title Wink

Anyone know the value of this one. I'm having trouble finding one for sale or that sold recently.

i know but i couldn't tell if they actually meant repro by that, or if they might have meant something like "handmade quality" as in high quality...their english wasn't the clearest in the description so i could see it go either way.

really skeptical of it though so i'll probably pass.

The only thing I see are non-sales for $60, so it's likely less than that.
