I don't really like Rumble Pit as it rewards recklessness.  

Captain was getting frustrated with me crawling around the map and using guerilla tactics, but what the heck would you do with that monster hunting you?

Well, if it were Goldeneye, I'd place proximity mines everywhere.  God I miss proximity mines.

Well I think my wins per game played % is actually pretty high in that category. But I am a fan of more team type games myself.

I likes me rumble for warmup but I love a good head to head match. I've been lucky enough to run across a few players that were dead even with me. Those were the best games ever.

Team games are the reason I play Halo. I found that I only enjoy a team game with the right people. That doesn't always mean the best players either. Attitude is equally as important.

I like team games but not with no mic. So i have been avoiding them.

Head to Head is ok but i got burned out on ONLY playing head to head for almost 2 months plus i ran into to many cheaters(hence 200+ matches at level 7).

I found i excel in Rumble Pit (atleast recently) and i luvs me some reckless brawls. |D

I bet rumble pit does not see that many stand by cheaters because the possiblity of getting host is a 1 in 8 chance. I suppose that is one good thing.

Never have i been standbyed in Rumble pit.
On that note i ot up to a 12 today.
I had a rough start and finish but i worked my way up there.

Played some really fun games last night. Me, Jokerz, an my buddy Eternal (not -the- Eternal) hooked up with Kyliac an some of his buds for some team stuff. We beat the snot out of them in assult (Zanzibar). Typical Pelican's defense an offense >:-) After they rolled out I played with Kyliac an one of his buds 3 vs 3. The ownage continued till we played some team crazy king. They won one of those. They were pretty impressed when I pulled a Captain (fast, smooth captures) on Lockout (1 flag CTF fast). Apparently never saw anyone toss the flag and run it up the front of the tower *shrug* Me an Jokerz got owned later on but it was still fun.

Then I made the laughable mistake of the year...hehe assult on Ivory Tower. Everyone was watchin shotty side an I grabbed the bomb an rolled up to overshield side. I was sittin there for 20 seconds "arming" when I realized that I'd dropped the bomb halfway when I stuck the rocket dude. We ended up losing that one 1-0

What day did they release the DLC?

The automatic download, from what I heard, is going to be in place some time today for the cheat fixes and to recalculate weapon balance.

The DLC with the first 4 of the 9 new maps is still supposedly end of April, but no official date has been set.

Auto update for glitch,cheat and other fixes will be out sometime today.

Maps will be out sometime in the coming weeks.

God I hope stand by is fixed forever. I would be nice if when the stand bye button is pushed then the Xbox would blow up. |D
