I just won Alien Soldier (PAL) for a *cough*
decent
price. Still quite expensive for a Mega Drive game, though.

using you as a moral compass is kinda weird. It's like asking a thief if it's okay to steal something.

Alien Soldier came in the post today. It's near enough mint. The box and insert are perfect. The cartridge has a few very faint lines, like someone put too much pressure on their finger nail but I can't see them unless I hold it up to the light. The manual is like new apart from a 1cm dog ear crease on the back page.
I reckon I got it for a good price. I was panicking after I bought it because it was quite a lot for a Mega Drive game. I guessed the other person might have bid £20 on it, so I bid £20.01 in the last minute. I was right. Sneaky, yes but at least I won it. Postage was £2.50 for 1st class recorded which was honest. However, the postman didn't knock on the door for a signature, so he must have signed it himself. I can't remember the last time we actually signed for a recorded delivery.

Some nes stuff over the past week:
Got this a couple days ago; the pic is pretty haggard but the cart itself is super minty gold. Not bad since I paid the same price for a CIB one as I would for a beat up, chipped gold one locally.
Adventures of Link CIB
Boxed Tombs & Treasure. Box is in good enough condition; wasn't expecting much just in case but it came out alright.

& still awaiting these.

Pieter will you ever stop finding "new" accessories?
Will i ever stop finding new Mortal Kombat stuff?
First time i have seen MKII on floppy disks.
Every other time has been CDs just in jewel cases
I'll eventually get them all...
Maybe by the end of this year i can finish up the US stuff minus variants

heheh, I guess I got pretty good at searching the right places at the right times. I just have a search routine with a bunch of bookmarks that I go through daily (doesn't take too much time either)...and I tend to find most of the accessories on the web...but not all. I sometimes check other ppl's won auctions and notice that there's quite a few accessories that my searches and search routine seems to miss...at least I find enough to keep me satisfied
There was a new in box Beeshu Jammer (!!) on eBay as well, but I got outbid by Gundam...seems like everytime I bid on something early that he needs, I get outbid by him...so I'm gonna have to start bidding on some stuff with my other account as the bidding info from that account cannot be searched due to European laws.

Yeah, I have a hunch we'll never stop finding new stuff...it's funny that most items that I come across for the first time, I never see again either...so who knows how much stuff is actually out there.

I got these in today, and this particular unlicensed Beeshu Zinger wasn't an actual Beeshu release afterall...another company must've taken leftover stock from Beeshu and sold them under no name, with no UPC etc...I'm assuming either Marpes or Talent Electronics, or both (because of region, title, and model number). I do still have a loose unlicensed Beeshu Zinger grey/grey, and I've seen a blue/grey unlicensed one on US eBay as well, so I guess I gotta keep my eyes open (the actual Beeshu unlicensed releases have a Beeshu end-connector as well as a different joystick mold...and the one I received today has the joystick mold of the licensed version but then with an anonymous endconnector)...

Nice win man!
I've got an "Official Mortal Kombat Trilogy Fighter's Kompanion" guide (covers Nintendo 64 and Sony PSX), let me know if you're interested.
Edit: nevermind, just checked eBay and noticed you're bidding on one already

Yea i haven't decided if i want to keep the username lololemon on eBay or swp it out to mine.
I'll probably just keep it since it kinda throws people off.
It was my mothers account originally but if you could still go thru the auction history you would know she had never used it lol.
And if yours is a Euro version it may or may not be different so i will keep in mind you have something Mortal Kombat for me
I should try to get in touch with cauterize soon and see if he still has some of the MK games i was interested in.... Rather pick up as many foriegn things as i can at once to save on the enourmous shipping prices :-/
Oh yea i picked up some non-gaming related stuff for Aubrey. lotus blossom yankee candles and a "fragrance". If i look hard enough eventually i will find a way to get a damn flower. Even though it would probably die on the way here if i ever do....
