I got a small question...why is the GC sometimes abbreviated into GCN?  Anyone know where this originated from?  I'm just curious cuz it would've made a lot more sense if it was NGC (although I guess people didn't want to mistake it for being a Neo Geo (Pocket) Color).

I believe it stands for "GameCube Nintendo"
Atleast that's what I have always though....but I could be wrong.
Yeah, that's what I assume as well, but I don't get why GCN is used when they might as well use NGC.  Smiley
I believe they use GCN just so people don't confuse it with Neo Geo Color.

I thought about that, too, but isn't it the Neo Geo Pocket Color aka NGPC?

Well, they usually have a lot of "variations" of the same games...sometimes the colors are changed, or you start in a different level...etc...but to be honest, sometimes nothing seems to have changed...so it's just 500x the same game.  This 1600in1 has a list of 51 different games on the back, so chances are it will have that many unique ones...I'm gonna check it out later.

Huge score today:

Policeman for NES!!!  This game has been rumored for a while now, but never confirmed until now!!  It's made by TXC/Micro Genius. Seems like a pretty cool game (but a bit sloppy programming), with a 2-player simultaneous play mode.

I also got a 15-in-1 multicart copyright 1988 NTDEC (i.e. Caltron/MegaSoft) in an NTDEC case like the Caltron/Myriad and Gluk games
32-in-1 Famicom educational cartridge in Espanol with various programs, and a windows-styled user interface (I couldn't do anything with the controller so I guess it's meant for one of those Famiclones with keyboard & mouse).

and I got a cool NES cleaning kit called the Ninja Cleaner (NIP) as well as 5 different sealed GameMaster games. Smiley

EDIT:  I just got the Starfighter 1 wireless set in for NES...one step closer to finishing the QuickShot collection.  All I need is one more (Wizmaster wireless) for the complete set, and two more boxes for complete CIB.
