I stopped by one used book store about a week ago and came out with all this Nintendo RPG/Strategy goodness:
All of these are complete, and some even have the original owner's game notes written on note book paper. Some also have original reciepts. Some of these NES games were $60.00!!
Then, yesterday, I got my Super Famicom Wii classic controller in the mail.

Those games are amazing Cambot. They look like they were sealed and the store just took the shrink wrap off.

Well, they were nicely maintained, that's for sure. The guy who owned them, "Sean," apparently, had his notes for the games where he kept track of stats and also kept his discover card receipts in some of the games (like I do). Some were $60.00 in 1990.

Well, recently, I have been adding a lot of games to my collection, mostly via ebay, and I have to say that there were some surprisingly cheap highlights among them:
Virtua Fighter 2: the obscure Sega Mega Drive version, complete with package and manual for 10 € (15 $) - some stores sell the entire package for 50 € (78 $)
Parasite Eve: complete with package, manual and bonus CD for 20 € (if you take into consideration how difficult it can be to obtain certain US/jp only games in Europe, it's a good price tag)
Sega Dreamcast console, complete in box with two controllers, a memory unit, dream key GD and all cables, along with Expendable, Sonic Adventure, Sega Rally 2, ChuChu Rocket and Toy Racer (all of them complete with package and manual) for 35 € (54 $)
Nintendo GameCube console complete in box with controller and manual, plus the Donkey Konga bongo box (game + bongos) and Donald Duck: Phantomias (don't know the american name, though) for only 33 € (51 $)
BeatMania keyboard for PlayStation 1 complete in box (condition is ok at least) for 5 € (7,8 $)
Final Fantasy Legend II complete with box, manual and map for 23 € (35 $)

Some of those games were marked $4.98, some were more. I think I picked the cream of the crop and probably paid around $90 for the games. I could easily get that back were I a reseller (which I'm not). Uncharted Waters alone could fetch more than half the total I paid that day.
The Classic Controller was $41 on eBay. I see them for less, though.
