Do you have goals of loosing weight or adding muscle? Do you plan on running in marathon this year? Do you just want to lose enough weight so you don't have to suck in your gut and hold your breath when you tie your shoes? Well post them here.

My goal is to lose 67lbs. I weight 267lbs today and I would like to be down to 200lbs by December 31 2009.

My plan is to eat less snacks, stop drinking soda and stop eating fast food. I will also do cardio and/or weight training five days a week.

Be able to run a half marathon. Get defined abs.

Sure, the last one is pretentious, but I don't care.

Once the winter is over I'll probably work on my muscles a bit, but nothing major.

be able to run a marathon.

EDIT:
After slacking off a year, I've decided to take up Shotokan Karate again.

I'm at 8th kyu right now (1st orange), and provided I'm diligent in practice I should be able to rank up to 6th kyu (green) by the end of the year.

Nothing too hard to achieve, I just want my 6-pack back and to bench around 150.

Right now I can bench my body weight (125) so I'm not really out of shape.

Get at the proper weight, which is about +15-20 from where I am now. I know I can't but I can always try. Tongue

be able to run

^^^^^

I had a little burst of speed a couple of weeks ago but it was dark and in the middle of a field with my dog pulling the lead. I normally feel goofy when I run so I don't. There's something not right about the sight of a fat man running.

I actually lost 9lbs between November and mid-December. I have no idea how. This is the first time I've been under a certain weight since the middle of 2005.

Continue to reduce sugar intake (sodas are my downfall) and be more consistent with exercise.

I need to drop a few pounds. Two summers ago I went from 266 to 225. Since then I've slowly added 25 of that back. I've still been pretty good about exercising and haven't started drinking sodas again. I just need to cut way back on the food intake.

Or, if you love food, you could take up cycling or running! But then during the summer I run 4 to 8 miles every other day so maybe I am just crazy.

I was riding my bike or running every morning. I need to get back on that schedule.

November of 07 I weighed 364lbs and set out to weigh 330lbs by same time in 08.  Wanted to weigh 300lbs or less by same time this year.  Already down to around 315lbs now.  8 months could prove very good if I can only keep it up.

I was hoping to cycle 300 km in one day this year. And maybe get an average of 38 km/h on a 35 km (or more) ride and an average of 35 on a 150 km ride.
But I have an inflammation in my knee which is acting up and it'll be august till I can properly cycle again.
