Spent much of my net time on YouTube during the outage, where I caught Charlie Brooker's
2011 Wipe

Some of you might be heartened by his tale of playing
Portal 2
during the royal wedding...

I just finished watching the Rifftrax version of Night of the Living Dead and it was really much funnier than I was expecting. Now I'm watching Bride of the Monster because that's how I roll, son.

Cannonball Run tonight.
Haven't watched it in years. Best ensemble cast ever.

Having read through just about every Cracked.com article of interest, I delved into the site's video archive.
I found a few I enjoyed that dealt with our common hobby:

I always thought Schwarzenegger's acting had improved towards the end of his career but apparently not.

Saw the first race (Australian GP) of the new F1 season. Ferrari's looking pretty weak, Alonso did keep it together though, during the race. Mclaren off to a great start and, wow, Maldonado is an idiot. The guy did some stupid things last season as well. I don't think he's smart enough to be in F1.
Also saw a bunch of movies last few months:
Bedazzled
(2000),
Somewhere
(2010),
Elizabeth I
(2005),
Tous les Matins du Monde
(1991),
An Education
(2009) ... off the top of my head, probably a lot more.

A mini-marathon of TruTV
World's Dumbest (Fill in the Blank Here)
episodes.
If anything can restore my faith in humanity, it's the likes of Danny Bonaduce, Tonya Harding and Leif Garrett goofing on everyday morons doing really retarded things...

On a bit of a Gilbert Gottfried kick.
Yes, I actually find him fairly funny. What can I say, I'm a sick, sick dude.
First I caught him doing his Andrew "Dice" Clay impression on Howard Stern's Saturday night TV show from the early 90s.
Then it was on to his
Dirty Jokes
stand-up special...
...topped off with his roast of Joan Rivers.
Later today, I'll watch the episode of
Superman
where he voices Mr. Mxyzptlk (sp?)...
