The wife and I watch the first two parts of "From Here to Eternity" (1979, five hour) not the 1953 movie. But we had things to do, so now I have to wait until it is on again(Friday, Nov. 24) because it is not on DVD.

So far I think it is a very good film.

Just watched Brothers, a foreign film (Danish w/ English subs) about 2 brothers, one of whom goes to Afghanistan and is presumed dead after a plan crash, the other who takes care of his widowed wife and 2 daughters

very good movie, and who would have thought there would be a movie about a war over there that wasn't about the US

Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 - An ok time filler. It wasn't particularly bad but it was all right.

Hellraiser - Amusing but could have been so much better. They needed more "horror" in it.


For about $3 each, they're good enough.

watched Koko:  A Talking Gorilla (Criterion Collection) last night.......really good documentary, especially since i have my undergrad in pscyh and am getting my masters in industrial psych.

But yeah, I agree that Ichi the Killer was retarded. I didn't understand it at all, I don't think anyone does.
