Next to Tetris, Lemmings may have been one of the most ubiquitous puzzle games around in the 1990s. First released for the Amiga in 1991, it was ported almost everywhere - NES, DOS, Genesis, 3DO, Atari ST, and a dozen other systems. This review looks at the Super Nintendo version specifically.

Aside from a looking at the gameplay, I also go into a bit of the dark history about the myth of lemming mass suicide, on which the game mechanics are based, where it came from, and the major corporation that perpetuated it.

Cheers for the review.

I was never a fan of the game, but can see why it was popular and loved by people.

My friend's mother was addicted to this game, and so my curiosity got the better of me at a young age.  This was one of my favorite puzzle games growing up and a welcome, cheap game for the SNES collector.

I mentioned this to Pam in her video or maybe Twitter comments, but if you enjoy this game, also be sure to check out Troddlers.

Great video Pam, I really enjoyed the history lesson portion of it!

Nice video Pam!  I enjoyed the little twist with the lesson about the Lemmings - it was very educational, because I had no idea that it was a myth.
