Title: TV and Movie Rumors Post by: Boshamp on September 12, 2014, 02:20:48 PM Read today that a few movies have been in the works lately, and I hadn't heard rumors before about these.
Zoolander 2 Professor X's New X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Mission Impossible 5 Finding Dory (Sequel to Finding Nemo) Supreme (Superman Alternate) "Supreme started in the early 1990s as an alternate version of Superman who was more Dirty Harry than Boy Scout" Another Underworld movie Ben-Hur Reboot (Morgan Freeman is confirmed, Tom Hiddleston might be joining) The Homesman (Another Tommy Lee Jones western) Rant (James Franco movie about a serial killer) What do you guys think? Title: Re: Movie Rumors Post by: techwizard on September 12, 2014, 02:25:50 PM by memory there's also
The Last of Us Heavy Rain (i think?) The Wheel of Time Title: Re: Movie Rumors Post by: Boshamp on September 12, 2014, 03:08:32 PM The wheel of time would be sweet, but I doubt that it would get the same following as HP or tLotR did for repeat sequels.
Title: Re: Movie Rumors Post by: SirPsycho on September 12, 2014, 03:30:45 PM It would need to be Game of Thrones times 10.
Title: Re: Movie Rumors Post by: Boshamp on September 12, 2014, 04:51:47 PM It soooo could be too in the right hands. That was such an awesome series of novels.
Title: Re: Movie Rumors Post by: techwizard on September 12, 2014, 05:10:15 PM i agree tv series would be the best way to go, otherwise they would have to cut so much for each movie or split each book into multiple movies.
Title: Re: Movie Rumors Post by: Tynstar on September 15, 2014, 10:59:30 AM Zoolander 2 -I hate Ben Stiller
Professor X's New X-MEN: APOCALYPSE - Awesome Mission Impossible 5 - Never saw 2-4 Finding Dory (Sequel to Finding Nemo) - Never found Nemo Supreme (Superman Alternate) "Supreme started in the early 1990s as an alternate version of Superman who was more Dirty Harry than Boy Scout" - Could be worth seeing Another Underworld movie - Love these movies Ben-Hur Reboot (Morgan Freeman is confirmed, Tom Hiddleston might be joining) - meh The Homesman (Another Tommy Lee Jones western) - meh Rant (James Franco movie about a serial killer) - meh Title: Re: Movie Rumors Post by: Boshamp on September 15, 2014, 12:32:14 PM I have similar feelings. I haven't seen a lot of the original movies from the sequels listed here. Never seen a Mission Impossible movie, nor Zoolander, and I have only seen the first underworld movie.
Title: Re: Movie Rumors Post by: MaterialHandlerMike on September 15, 2014, 07:26:21 PM Zoolander 2- I own and like the first one
Professor X's New X-MEN: APOCALYPSE- En Sabbah Nur! Bring it. Mission Impossible 5- Should probably watch the last two at some point. Finding Dory (Sequel to Finding Nemo)- No interest Supreme (Superman Alternate) "Supreme started in the early 1990s as an alternate version of Superman who was more Dirty Harry than Boy Scout"- I think I have a copy of that lying around somewhere. What next? a Shadowhawk movie? Another Underworld movie- No interest Ben-Hur Reboot (Morgan Freeman is confirmed, Tom Hiddleston might be joining)- Seriously? a remake? unnecessary. The Homesman (Another Tommy Lee Jones western)- I will watch it. Eventually. Rant (James Franco movie about a serial killer)- Not much interest Title: TV and Movie Rumors Post by: Boshamp on October 06, 2014, 03:36:57 PM Twins Peaks is getting a 9 episode reboot on Showtime. The original creators and writers have confirmed it will be a reboot, but will continue the very same storylines and character development they were not allowed to when the show was cancelled after only its second season. #Damngoodcoffee
Also, for those of you not yet aware. Amazon will be rebooting the Tick. Patrick Warburton is confirmed to reprise his role as the Tick, but no word yet on other possibly returning actors. The creators and writers have advised will be rebooting with a new, and darker look at the story. Title: Re: TV and Movie Rumors Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on October 06, 2014, 03:47:04 PM Live action or animated for Tick?
Title: Re: TV and Movie Rumors Post by: Boshamp on October 06, 2014, 03:59:55 PM Twice that question was asked at my posting of this news, and twice I should have probably specified. ha ha.
It is the Live-action version that is getting more episodes. Title: Re: TV and Movie Rumors Post by: GrayGhost81 on October 07, 2014, 10:28:00 AM So stoked about Twin Peaks!
