People say they're good for taking on trips but when I'm on a trip i'm on a trip. Not gaming. And if I sit around playing it all day at home it feels like I should be reading or something.

It's so expensive still, I really want to play a lot of the games for it but the price of the system alone is too high for me to really get behind. Me And My Katamari, Lumines 1 and 2, the Gradius Collection, the bunch of Japanese games I've seen at the local store... I really want to get behind the system.
Now I just need to start working in order to actually afford to get one. THEN... I dunno about the redesign. Unless that comes out and it's a lower price point than the current incarnation by the time I have enough cash. I went to try one at the store, and got tired of the loading there, a portable system that you play while you wait for something else that makes you wait?! Maybe you need a backup hand-held system to play while your PSP loads.
