Sadly, no.  Today is a work day.
Tonight might be different, however.

Indeed.  My family took me to the ECHL Kelly Cup game which Cincinnati Cyclones won handily.  It was the most amazing sports experience I've ever been present for.  First time in 18 years Cincinnati has had a championship team too.  Even though it was minor league, it was every bit as entertaining as the "big" guys.

Throughout the season, the average attendance was in the 6,000 range.  There were about 13,000 people at the arena last night, a near sell out.  It was, without a doubt, the loudest sporting event I have ever been to.  It was a blast.

Awesome, wish I could have gone, but I had a paper due the next day I had to work on.  Happy belated b-day!  Sounds like you had a good one.

Sounds like a good time, glad you had a good one.  I happen to see the last Cincinnati hockey championship game.  It was the Cincinnati Swords, the Buffalo Sabres farm team back in the early 70's.  The last game of the Calder Cup finals was played in Buffalo because the Circus (from what I remember anyway) was in town and they could play where they normally played their home games.  I was like 13 or 14 at the time but still remember them skating around with the Cup at the end.
