I tried watching the second-season premiere episode of the animated so-called "Star Trek" series "Lower Decks"... and bailed about three minutes in, it was so obnoxiously unwatchable.

Of course, it shouldn't have been much of a surprise, since I was also annoyed by "Discovery" and appalled by the idiocy that was "Picard." Looks like I've become one of those cold-fogey Trekkie curmudgeons who pine for the good old days of Star Trek, when it was actually decent to great...

Got through season 3 of Jessica Jones and season 3 of The Punisher. Started seasons 5 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and watched Thor: Ragnarok.

Finished season 5 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and watched both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, so I'm nearing the end of my full MCU rewatch, minus the new Disney+ stuff I haven't seen yet.

Hasbro Pulse's YouTube channel has uploaded the first two seasons of the G1 TransFormers cartoon, so I've been alternating between that and the fourth season of Star Trek TNG.

My Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. watch-through has been rudely interrupted by Netflix unceremoniously removing it from the service when I was 4 episodes away from finishing it, so I'll have to put that on hold for the moment. Last night, I watched Lifeforce, a ridiculous sci-fi B movie about space vampires trying to take over Earth. It wasn't completely terrible, but it certainly isn't an all time classic, either. Patrick Stewart has a rather unglamorous role in the movie. Not sure if it's the edit I watched, or what the deal was, but the sound balance was really awful. Some of the dialogue scenes were too quiet, and the moment the music would swell up for dramatic effect, or there were screams or loud noises, it got WAY too loud. Was pretty jarring in spots.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. showed back up on Netflix a couple days later, so I finished it out, which was well worth doing. I'm now working on Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Just binged all of Squid Game on Netflix and really enjoyed it. I will say the English dub is pretty bad and almost stereotypical for some characters. So it may be worth just watching it with the original Korean voices and just use English subtitles for some. Other than that the story is great and the different games they play are really thrilling.

Finished Loki. I haven't decided yet what I'm going to watch next, based on the couple things I have left in my MCU journey. I'll probably watch the Hail To The King one-shot, and Black Widow, then close up with the What If...? episodes.
