Title: Second of Two Big Microsoft Announcments Tonight Post by: Tan on March 28, 2007, 02:09:31 PM Last night it was the Elite. Anyone have any thoughts on the second? A few frontrunners so far on the net are the Halo 3 demo and Microsoft buying Take Two effectively killing GTA IV for the PS3.
Considering how lame the "Elite" announcment was Halo 3 could complete the lameness. "If you bought a crappy game for $50 you get to play an unfinished demo in one month"......yay. Though I suppose that's what allot of 360 owners want to hear. I'm hoping that their All-Pro Football 2K8 can compete with Madden. EA really pissed me off with that NFL-exclusives deal...3 more years of shitty Madden lameness. The last Madden game I owned was Madden '95 on the Genny.
I do enjoy Crackdown, it's been worth the purchase imo. So for me if the Halo 3 Beta activation is the announcement then all the better. 8) Even if Microsoft buys Take Two, wouldn't Rockstar still publish the GTA4 for PS3? Maybe the announcement is the new Halo 2 maps that were rumored to only be playable on 360. Halo, Zune or something new altogether.
