Trivia

This variant of the Nintendo 3DS removed the charging cradle that was included with the earlier production runs of handhelds. The packaging has a different UPC and the box opens through a flap on the side of the box. The versions that include a charging cradle have the flap on the long side of the bottom of the box, which then folds up and over like a lid.
