- Elite, who owned the rights to the home computer conversion of the arcade game Commando, thought Who Dares Wins was too similar to their game so gained an injuction to stop it being released. A few copies did make it out though. Who Dares Wins had the maps of the game and some small graphical details changed and was released as Who Dares Wins II.
- Although the game shares the same name with the game published by dk'tronics, they are both completely different games.
