Overview:
From the back of the box:
Looking for high-speed authentic arcade action? Strap yourself firmly in for this electrifying new racing game. Extensive game features include:
- Over 20 world-class racing vehicles, including hidden cars which need to be 'unlocked'.
- 15 challenging tracks with varying weather conditions in 5 different universes.
- Spectacular car jumps with additional power boosters on the track.
- Stunning visual SFX on the landscapes.
- Multiplayer gaming for up to 4 players.
It wouldn't be fair to say this game has PlayStation graphics, but it's pretty damn close. Apart from choosing a car, you can also chose a character to drive with. This has no influence on anything though. You won't even see more of him/her than the back of her/his head. The cars are imaginary, but clearly based on existing models. Your opponents lack any form of intelligence and will not finish a race without driving into something (a fence, wall, rock, etc.) at least once.
