Overview:
The highest selling game in Japan for Microsoft's Xbox. This regional release provided an upgrade in gameplay from the North American release. Competitive players of the game will call the Japanese version 3.1 and the North American version 3.0 to differentiate the two due to their gameplay differences.
Gameplay Differences from 3.0:
- Over 50 new moves added
- Free-Step-Dodge (Sidestep) system tracking loosened to avoid linear attacks
- 10 new costumes added. (Later released on a downloadable disc.)
- Move property changes.
