Overview:
The player controls a ship that must avoid or destroy Zantis creatures that emerge from onscreen cells. The cells must be destroyed in order to advance throughout the game; destroying all cells leads to a showdown against a large Zantis leader boss before returning to a regular Zantis stage.
Variations:
Game Trivia:
Zantis was "very loosely based" on the arcade game of Spiders, being a bit simplified with a lot fewer targets and scoring.
