Overview:
In this second game of the Sector-X series, the player controls a ship that flies around or in Hell. In the first and third levels, whenever the player flies into an area where one or two creatures known as sectoids occupy it, they will attach themselves to the player's ship and rotate around it, causing damage in the process. The player must shoot the sectoids to be rid of them, along with also facing a boss at the end of these levels that attack in the same manner, but take five hits to be destroyed.
In the second level, the player must navigate their way through a maze, solve a puzzle, and destroy a boss in a totally different manner than the ones faced in levels 1 and 3.
