Overview:

In this flight simulator and action game, your mission is to bomb a dam deep inside Nazi Germany in the early spring of 1943. Press one of the following keypad buttons depending upon the crew position you want during gameplay: 1. Pilot, 2. Front Gunner, 3. Tail Gunner, 4. Bomb Aimer, 5. Navigator, 6. First Engineer, and 7. Second Engineer (Squadron Leader level only). When a crew position needs your attention, its number flashes at the bottom of the screen. Move with the joystick and perform a function or fire a weapon with the left side button. When making your bomb-run approach, three factors must be set exactly to skip the bomb over the water: Speed= 232 mph, Altitude= 60 feet, and Distance= 800 yards from the dam. Once all options are set, press 2 to immediately switch to the Front Gunner's screen. When you are going down the lake and are on target for the dam, the dam appears on the horizon. Use the distancing sights on the Bomb Aimer's screen (4). When the dam's towers are aligned with the distancing sights, press the left side button to release the bomb. At the end of a mission, press * to return to the option screen or # to replay the same option.
