Game Trivia:

  • There is a little-known glitch in the game, which was discovered back in 1991 by myself, in which you can advance levels without destroying buildings. In order to do this, you must eat as many people as possible, while trying not to destroy the city. From what I've seen, you can destroy buildings, but at least one must remain. The game will have an obvious glitch occur, ranging from a simple score adjustment to impossible-to-achieve scores, all the way to major gameplay bugs - I once climbed up the sky and came up through the road! The one common occurance is that after the glitch occurs, you advance to the next level. I have yet to find a level this doesn't work on.
