- In at least the North American and Brazilian Steam stores, this standard edition along with the Gold and Deluxe Gold editions was sold from store page #901249. Typically a Steam game and its store page will share the same ID numbers.
- Settlers 7 and its special editions have a separate store page in other countries - #901436. Oddly enough however, buying the game from there does not give your Steam account a unique regional variation. All customers receive the same versions of Settlers 7.
- On March 10, 2011, this standard edition was removed from the Steam store and the Deluxe Gold Edition become the only version available for purchase.
