After having to postpone another 3 times we finally got together 2 days in a row to finish most of the work. We ran out of wood for the actual shelves and so did Home Depot, Home Hardware and Rona so we are temporarily stalled. Lucas figures he can get some ordered in so hopefully next week we can finish completely. For now we've got a large majority of it done though. I've just got to paint it now.
This does look really nice. what color are you going to paint it? I have one suggestion if you are painting it a color other than black. It may be better to paint the wood before you install it. To avoid getting paint all over the things you've already done.
Thanks for the comments guys!! I was going to paint the wood first, but I got lazy. I'm just gonna go black anyway so its not a big deal if I get some paint on the hardware. I slapped a coat of Primer on everything, but may not get a chance to paint it until tuesday or so when my wife is off with me and can watch our kid for an hour or so.
