A Momentary Lapse of Awesome

This weekend I was out taking a walk. After a while I decided to sit down and relax. Fortunately there were lots of chairs around. I picked one out and sat down.

Thinking to myself, I realized this was a funny place. There seemed to be way too many lights....

....and a really big speaker system.

Pretty soon 18,000 people sat down with me. What is going on here I wondered? I hoped it didn't get too loud, whatever it was, but those speakers had me worried. Fortunately I had ear plugs in my pocket for some reason.

Some sort of band showed up. I think their name was Molty Crew, or something like that.

Those lights worked, they were pretty neat.

There was one band member, maybe his name was Thomas Lee Smith or Jones(?) anyways, his drum kit was a roller coaster! Rock and Roll (snicker) dude!

Then some other band came on stage, I don't know what their name was.

Then it hit me, I was asleep and in the world of Guitar Hero!

Then some guy flew over my head and landed right behind me. Who does he think he is?

I must have gotten really big points in this dream, because we sure did celebrate at the end.

Oh, and this was by far the loudest dream I've ever had. The noise was so great every hair on my head and arms shook from the sound pressure. I could feel the music.

I'm a huge KISS fan, but missed this tour.  They just don't do as many shows as they used to, so it's much harder to get to one.  But they put on one heck of a spectacle.  It's funny to think that I saw them perform on their "Farewell Tour" a dozen years ago, and they just can't give it up.

Sounds and looks like a great show. Wouldnt been right up my alley too!

Was this some annual concert hosted by a local radio station?

'Cuz they were (more or less) around my area less than a week ago, as the headliners of "107.7 The Bone's" annual Bone Bash:

Just curious...

@Zagnorch: I don't really know if this was part of a yearly thing or not. I would guess not. I think it was just a stop on the KISS/Crue tour. Which is oddly named "The Tour". I'm really not much of a concert guy, this was only my 5th concert, and two of the other ones were the same guy.

It was a pretty awesome show. While KISS isn't my favorite band, I've always wanted to see their show. Motley Crue is no slouch in what they put on either. Had a great time. It didn't hurt that my cousin came up with the tickets, at $151 each, and it was free to me.
