Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is a first person shooter that was developed by Machine Games and released on October 27 2017. It was also my most anticipated game of the year.

In this review I go over the story and character focus, the gameplay, the environments, and whether it lives up to The New Order, which quickly became one of my all time favourite games.

I agree with your review. The game play needs an overhaul to match the story. It quickly turns in to an arena shooter making stealth almost useless. For those of you who have played the Serious Sam series that's the level of speed this game has. The other gripe I have with the game is it doesn't haven an indicator to tell you that you are taking damage. A damage cone ala Call of Duty would go a long way to alleviate this issue. I also had to turn down the difficulty in order to enjoy the game.

@Addicted:It's disappointing how ineffective the stealth is, because I loved it in the first game. So I end up playing it like the new Doom, though I think you're meant to use cover more? Using cover in this feels very unnatural because of the speed of it though.
