Collection Description:
Collecting Video Games... my most recent obsessive hobby. Actually I've been a lifelong gamer. My first gaming experiences were the Mattel and Coleco handheld LED games and playing Space Invaders or Defender at the local 7/11. When I graduated junior high in 1982 I received my first home video game console; the Atari 2600. In the years that followed I progressed to the C64, NES, Sega Genesis and Sony Playstation.

Sometime in 1999 or 2000 I was surfing the web and stumbled onto Digital Press, a very cool video game website. This led me to dig out the old 2600 and play the classics once again. I was hooked and started to search for 2600 games I missed out on as a kid. During my searches I quickly discovered how many other video games there were to be had. I figured, what the hell. I might as well collect those too.

To date I've collected over 40 unique consoles and over 3,500 games.
