- This is the original Australian release in late 1994.
- The OFLC ratings system for video games was introduced in 1994. However, in 1994 and early 1995 several SNES games had stickers displaying the rating rather than having it printed directly on the box on initial release. This is likely because the game was not classified by the OFLC until very late. Secret of Mana was released in PAL territories on 24 Nov 1994, but was only classified on 01 Nov 1994.
