- The game was a result of the original game, Who Dares Wins being too close to the arcade game Commando. Elite, who owned the rights to the home computer conversions of the arcade game, gained an injuction to stop the game being published. The maps of Who Dares Wins were changed as well as some small graphical details, and renamed Who Dares Wins II.
