Game Trivia:

  • In the UK there exists two slipcase variants - one of which was exclusive to HMV stores, the other was made available everywhere else. As with the HMV version, this is just a standard UK black label game with an alternate art slipcase. As such, the EAN on the slipcase is different from the game inside it. The back of the case has a product code ending with ORING1 (as compared to ORING2 on the HMV exclusive) which has led to slipcases sometimes being called "O-rings" (although the HMV exclusive seems to attract the moniker more than this version). The artwork is very different, featuring all 6 characters standing on Pulse with Coccoon in the background.

  • The Final Fantasy logo does not include Amano art.
