Overview:

Port of Cobra II: Densetsu no Otoko from the PC Engine CD, the game at best is "Snatcher-light" (but without the great storyline). Based of the famous Manga series by Buichi Terasawa, Space Adventure Cobra (or just Cobra) tells the story of The Space Pirate Cobra and his adventures. In this game it tells the story of Cobra and the treasures of the triplet sisters. This version of the story is different from the TV anime version, but mostly it's the same plot wise. Gameplay wise it's a Japanese adventure game which you use basic commands ("Look", "Talk", "Think', etc.) in order to advance. Translation of text was OK at best and the English acting was average. Biggest problem of the game was the voice acting is usually overpowered by the music (music comes from the Genesis soundchip, the voices are from the CD). Time to time it's really hard to understand what the characters are saying because of the music. It's also a good idea to watch the TV anime series first before playing (because you'll be confuse a little bit if you didn't watch the anime). This is a very uncommon game in America and prices usually goes for $50-$70, but gameplay wise $20-$30.
