You are the leader of an elite flight team. Your mission is to kill terrorists that have taken over several key areas worldwide. There are 17 levels to beat as well as a 2-player versus mode.

Air Combat is a 1st generation PlayStation title that really shines. Namco outdid themselves with this fun flight simulator/action adventure title. The graphics are outstanding and there is a ton of voice dialogue and very catchy music. There is a lot of fun to be had with Air Combat, although it is a bit on the short side. The 2-player versus mode is a blast with a friend, and adds lastability to the title.

• Air Combat was one of the original PlayStation game releases in 1995. Thus, it was originally packaged in the collectible "long box" format.

• Infinite Planes: Beat the game on the Normal difficulty setting, when you play again you will have infinite planes.
• Cheat Mode: This is needed for all other cheats. Before the game switches to the loading screen, press and hold O + R1. The loading screen will now change to lots of jumping CDs.
• Bonus Game: Activate cheat mode. On the jumping CD screen, press Up, Left, Down, Right. A small green monster will appear in the corner of the screen. This will unlock a bonus game.
• Alter Plane Color: Activate cheat mode. On the jumping CD screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right, Up Down, Left, Right, R1. A small plane will appear in the corner of the screen. You will now be able to alter the colour of your plane.
• Alter Wingmen Colour: Activate cheat mode. On the jumping CD screen, press Start x10, R1. This will change the colour of wingmen.
